Just four miles down another scenic road you’ll find Portavadie, a sailing centre and resort with fabulous eating out. Portavadie is also the start of the Cowal Way and the ferry point to Tarbert.

By Road (Most Common Route)
The Secret Coast is reached via the scenic Cowal Peninsula:
From Glasgow, follow the A82 along Loch Lomond, then the A83 over the Rest and Be Thankful.
Turn onto the A815 and follow signs for Tighnabruaich and Portavadie.
The drive is incredibly scenic, passing lochs, forests, and mountain views.
By Ferry (Fast & Scenic Option)
For a shorter journey time:
Take the Gourock → Dunoon ferry (CalMac passenger ferry or Western Ferries for cars).
From Dunoon, follow the A815 and A886 to Glendaruel, then the B8000 or A8003 to the coast.
