The Executive Team

Iain Fleming
Iain’s a man on a mission – to put Argyll on the map. He’s lived in the area for 25 years, establishing a number of businesses. He previously managed and ran Total Holiday Experience, a travel company that specialised in organising bespoke trips. Owner of Argyll Self-Catering Cottages he understands tourism and hospitality. He also owns and manages his own holiday cottages in Argyll – so he knows what’s involved. Iain is the owner of the company and oversees its strategic direction.

Chrissie Fleming
Iain’s Australian wife joined the team in 2012. She brings with her over 20 years sales and marketing experience in the Australian tourism and hospitality sector. She states, “I am very fortunate to have the opportunity to live in such a beautiful part of the world and I am excited to be part of Argyll Self Catering Holidays. I have learnt our holiday time is a special and very important time in our lives, and I believe Argyll can offer so much and more to our guests”.

David Wood
David has worked in travel for over 40 years and there’s not much he doesn’t know about the industry. He started out in tour operating, then worked in retail travel before managing a travel agency in Hampshire. David grew up in Argyll, but left as a young man to forge his career. He’s our finance and administration man. He’s exceptionally organised and keeps us on track and in budget. His desk’s the tidy one.
