Idyllic Retreat

5 star Tripadvisor Review Mar 2016

What an amazing week we have had at Stronchullin! Can highly recommend the cottages- absolutely perfect if like us you are looking for peace and tranquility. Alder Cottage was so very well equipped - had all the kitchen essentials we needed, the vast array of books meant we were able to read books we wouldn't have normally read (we left a couple of books we had read also). Several DVDs and a jigsaw also. The wifi worked well - fast and reliable. Thank you for the welcome of freshly laid eggs and shortbread- they were gratefully received. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The wood-burning stove was excellent- it was perfect for the cosy afternoons and evenings we enjoyed beside it reading and relaxing. Lastly, the view was just excellent- the loch was beautiful. Quad biking provided great fun for husband and 15yr old son. Excellent tuition and views. Thank you so very much.. Lovely, cosy cottages and a perfect week of relaxation.
