Larch Cottage is a lovely detached holiday property, sitting on a hillside overlooking Loch Long and the Firth of Clyde, near Dunoon, Argyll. It’s one of four situated within a small holiday development called Stronchullin.
Interior
With lots of natural light and lovely views, it sleeps six people in three bedrooms. On the ground floor there’s a spacious open-plan sitting room and dining area with oak flooring and a wood-burning stove. From the lounge there’s a patio door leading out to large deck and garden with magnificent views – the perfect spot for an evening drink. For entertainment there is free Wi-Fi and a Smart TV with live streaming.

Outside seating is provided on a new deck area where you can relax and soak in the Argyll scenery and enjoy alfresco drinks and dining or enjoy a barbecue in the gardens. The holiday cottages has an idyllic, secluded setting yet have all the amenities of Dunoon available just a few miles away.
There is access to a barbecue area in the spacious shared grounds and garden surrounding the cottage. Shared use of on-site facilities including pool table.

BLAIRMORE
Blairmore is a picturesque village located on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. Blairmore lies within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. It is situated on the western shore of Loch Long and approximately one mile north of Strone, and 11 miles from Dunoon.
DIRECTIONS
From Glasgow, follow the M8 for Greenock, then the A8 for Gourock. Take the A770 for Western Ferries, 2 miles beyond Gourock. This is where your holiday begins! Enjoy the 20 minute ferry trip and the fabulous scenery to arrive at Hunters Quay and Cowal. Once off the ferry, turn right onto the A815 for 2 miles. Turn right at a T-junction for the A815; after 3 miles turn right for the A880 taking you to Kilmun, Strone and Blairmore (5 miles). A 1/4 mile past Gairletter Caravan Park watch out for the signpost for Stronchullin Holiday Cottages on the left.
