Family Summer Trip

4.8/5 Star Upfront Reviews - August 2023

Excellent lodge with great amenities inside and also available on site.
Peaceful and quiet in a lovely location with views of the hills and lochs.
Would definitely consider going back again for a similar stay (7 days).
Communication was accurate and timely, with a useful information pack supplied which provided detailed information about the lodge itself and also local eateries and attractions, which we checked out personally.

All in all, a great little spot for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from home.

Lovely property, feels like a home from home.
5/5 Star Upfront Reviews - June 2023
We spent two weeks here while working on the main reception refurbishment (another two weeks were spent in other ASCH properties). The lodge was fantastic, and offered a great place to relax after a day's work. I brought my dog one week, it's a perfect hub for exploring the local area, Glen Massan, Pucks Glen and Toward's / Lamont Castle ruins to name a few! Highly Recommended !

Stay at Holy Lock Lodge
4.8/5 Star Upfront Reviews - April 2023
This was an excellent lodge with all the comforts of home, well situated and easy to reach. I would however recommend that you don't use the private road as instructed, as it is full of potholes and in very poor condition.

Suggestion: Reception offer main entrance passes GPB 10 security bond.

Great accommodation

5/5 Star Upfront Reviews - September 2022

We've stayed here before and the standard of accommodation has been maintained, I would have no hesitation in recommending to others

Very comfortable
4.8/5 Upfront Reviews - August 2022
Lodge was very comfortable and clean. Great location with good amenities. Surrounding area is picturesque with plenty of walks and things to do.
We had a lovely time.

A comfortable & enjoyable experience !

Sept 2021
Everything I needed was there in terms of home comforts ..... parking was OK
& the site location was perfect ! ... the local people were friendly too :)

The only thing I felt that needed clarifying was the central heating instructions,
there were none local to the boiler/ digital control panel !!

Otherwise everything was fine :)

A pleasant stay

Aug 2021
Our stay at Holy Loch Lodge (2 adults + 1 child) was pleasant and enjoyable. The lodge was clean and comfortable and the area very quiet (end of August/early Sept). The cottage has more TVs than we could make use of. It is otherwise reasonably well equipped (incl. washing machine and microwave, no dish washer; fridge on the small side but sufficient for three persons for a week), except that we missed a few standard cooking utensils (cutting board etc.).

May break in Holy Lodge

April/May 2021
We have just returned from an enjoyable break in Holy Lodge. Holy Lodge is situated at the quieter end of the Hunters Quay site. It is a bright lodge, having a lovely, open outlook and good views. There is plenty of (grassed) space around the lodge which our daughters loved playing on. The lodge inside was a little tired but was very warm (heating and hot water very efficient) and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. There was plenty of room for our family of 4 and the tv and wifi facilities worked great. Having a washing machine was useful too! Overall we had a great stay and would visit again.

Would recommend

April/May 2021
Lovely wee lodge in an ideal location. Had everything we needed and communication with owners was excellent. Comfy beds, and couches, good tv and WiFi and everything worked as it should. Would definitely stay again

Week break in Scotland

Oct 2020
Me and my partner had a lovely break in the lodge. Everything you need for a self catering break in a beautiful part of Scotland. All the facilities you require are on the site and when you get out and about it is just beautiful. If you are a out doors person then i would recommend this place, especially if you love scenery and wildlife. (red squirrels everywhere and deer feeding on the lawn). But don't just stay on the site there are some lovely walks and attractions within a short drive. All you need is the weather....

Great place to stay
Just had 5 days staying at number 3 Deercroft Hunters Quay. Great place to stay. We love Dunoon. This is the perfect place to stay. Great value for money, great location, very clean. Just beautiful. Didnt want to come home. Will definitely be returning.

AirBnB Review Sept 2020

We had a lovely stay at Holy Loch Lodge. The accommodation was as depicted in the photos and described. It proved to be just right for relaxing with all that is required in terms of facilities. Warm and comfortable in a stunning location. Communication with the owners swift and clear. We recommend a stay at the Lodge and will certainly request a return.

Tom and Mark.
