Alder Cottage, country location near Dunoon
 5/5 Star VRBO Review - June 2023

The cottage facilities are very good and although it’s in a quiet location there is plenty to do and see within easy access of the cottage. The wildlife around the cottage ranging from many different birds to squirrels and seals and porpoises in the loch. For provisions, Dunoon is only 20 minutes drive and has 2 good supermarkets.

Review - Sept 2021

The scenery surrounding this cottage is amazing! The photos don’t do it justice, you need to be there to see how beautiful it really is. We were greeted with a basket of goodies from the hosts! The cottage is well-stocked and has everything you need. There’s also a lot of brochures to help familiarise you with the area. Fiona and David were lovely and always available to help. They were really prompt in answering our queries. The location is perfect for exploring Argyll forest and is within close proximity to Dunoon. We really enjoyed our time there and would love to stay again.
