Nice New year break

2021/22
The lodge was very nice, modern with good facilities. Good value for money. The road up to the property is not great you have to go extremely slow and avoid a lot of pot holes and bumps along the way and directions not the greatest for the dark conditions you arrive in. Location was handy for good walks with the dog and local amenities within 5min drive. Very peaceful location, would definitely return.

In the words of Arnie.. Il be back!

Sept 2021
Used to stay here many a time when last owner had it, we described it before as rustic and although basic, we enjoyed it as Hunters Quay holds great memories for our Family. Fast forward to Oct 2021 and we book again as part of my Mums 80th,new owners, practically new lodge! Great reclining sofas and single seat which is SO comfy, lovely walk in shower/bathroom. Nice fresh trebdy bedding.. All together a much improved stay at a great price!
Had a few tiny "issues", and I mean tiny but obv have to report, the text from Michelle was delay with swiftly, politely and informativley.. Such a nice person and for that reason, we're returning, hopefully Jan /Feb.. Can't wait.
Recommend!

Lovely stay at Deercroft

June 2021
Spent a lovely week at Deercroft with the dog...and the lodge was just what we needed...great location for exploring the Cowal peninsula...waking up too views of the sea every day was terrific... saw deers and red squirrels on the lodge site too which was pure joy...managed to get some cracking photos of the wildlife...the lodge has all the essentials needed for a pleasant say...may have been taken out because of Covid safety requirements but just a suggestion it would have been great if this visitors info book had more information leaflets, guide books etc about the local and surrounding area...but we had access to the internet so easily resolved...thank you for hosting us in your lovely lodge

I've Great base for beautiful surroundings.
