Fancy your very own cabin in the woods? 18 Lamont Lodge is an authentic log cabin, built ‘log-upon-log’ – logs inside and out. It’s one of just 18 privately owned lodges on a small and scenic park area known as Lamont Lodges near Dunoon.  A stunning region to experience within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. 
 
Inside
The lodge is comfortable and inviting and can sleep up to six people comfortably, with one double and two twin bedrooms and a bathroom with bath and shower and a separate WC.

Featuring a well equipped kitchen with dining, a dishwasher, electric heating. There’s a bright lounge, with a large window with park views. 18 Lamont Lodge is the last lodge so no through traffic.

There are walking trails that begin from the lodge grounds, perfect for your dog. 

Explore
Puck's Glen is immediately behind the lodges offering a magical walk through the glen and a secluded forested area, it’s ideal for relaxing and exploring the beautiful countryside nearby. Go walking, biking, stalking, fishing, the possibilities are endless. It’s just a short walk or cycle on a leafy shaded private road to Benmore Botanic Gardens and onward to the shores of Loch Eck and Ben Mhor.

The town of Dunoon is within easy reach and has a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is an abundance of outdoor activities on offer with sailing, fishing, windsurfing, quad bikes, clay shooting and much more. Nearby, the magnificent woodland gardens at Benmore Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit. Located within the Loch Lomond National Park, the area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery with dramatic peaks, and

Dogs Welcome: The lodge is dog friendly, maximum two only.  £20 per pet per stay. 
 
Parking: Parking available for two cars.
 
Other Notes: No outdoor fires on property grounds allowed. No washing machine.

Safety Features: Smoke alarm, fire extinguisher, fire blanket.
 
Cleanliness & Disinfecting: Use of cleaning chemicals that are effective against Coronavirus, Linens, towels and laundry washed in accordance with local authority guidelines, Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays.

RASHFIELD
Rashfield is a picturesque hamlet on the Cowal peninsula, situated between Loch Eck and the head of Holy Loch, in Argyll and Bute, West of Scotland. The hamlet is on the A815 road and the River Eachaig flows pass from Loch Eck to the Holy Loch. Rashfield is within the Argyll Forest Park which is itself within the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Dunoon is 5.5 miles from Rashfield.

DIRECTIONS
On the Dunoon side, turn right from the terminal and follow the road until you come to a T junction at Sandbank.
Turn right and continue on this road (A815 signposted for Glasgow).
After passing the Cot House Service Station look out for the Puck's Glen car park.
Slow right down here as the entrance to Lamont Lodges comes up immediately on the right. No 18 is to the right just after the Office and all the way to the end of the track. The Office is not staffed.

Stayed in this cabin 2 years running and will stay again. If you like fantastic walks on your doorstep this is the place. Cabin is very comfortable. Also has Wi-Fi which is a plus. We had a great time

We had nice week in Lamont Lodge. Everything was in good condition. Location was also great and gave us a lot of privacy. It was good place to spent with bigger family. We all have been nicely suprised.
