Explore
The perfect holiday getaway to relax and escape from the stresses of modern life; located close to local amenities in Kames which include a village store selling local produce and the Kames Hotel, restaurant and pub which is a 5-10 minute walk along the seafront.

The adjacent neighbouring village of Tighnabruaich offers cafes, restaurants, shops and an art gallery, and whether you enjoy sailing, golf, tennis, walking cycling or just chilling out, there is something for everybody here.

Portavadie Marina and Spa with its shop, restaurant, and indoor and outdoor pools is a short drive away.

There are many other interesting spots and attractions to explore in this very scenic part of Argyll’s Secret Coastline (Benmore Botanic Gardens, Bute House and Inverary Castle and jail to name a few).

Car Parking: In front of the house there is ample parking for two cars, with further parking across the small road.

Guest access: Kames and Tighnabruaich are scenic seaside villages with quiet roads which are well suited for walking or cycling and, if taking the car, street parking is available in most public areas.

Other things to note:
NB: The garden is still work in progress; there is a small stream and some steep slopes which are potentially dangerous and are not suitable for very young children without close adult supervision. There are some safety fences in place but care needs to be taken at all times by guests.
