I had an amazing time in this lovely cabin. Just exactly what I needed. The weather was pretty much awful but it didn’t matter as this little house is amazing. Thank you for my birthday present. It was a pleasure to be your guest and begin New Year in this amazing place. Thank you for your kindness and care.

A slice of almost unimaginable perfection. Enticed here by your photos but the reality is even better. Magical, romantic, cozy “hobbit hut”. The warmth of the fire / under the sound of howling wind & rain, the spectacular view from all the windows (waking up to there: just wonderful). That tree, lit in night time, so beautiful. We - & our dog Nula, have loved spending Christmas here. We’d love to return. Thank you, Louisa, for all your warm hospitality! With many thanks & much appreciated from Nula for the very testy Christmas cracker!!

We had a lovely couple of days - blessed with fab weather. The walk to the brewery is well worth doing - you need to look for Shepherd’s Way up by Cairndow Village Hall. We are at Oyster Catcher - very good and Inver - excellent! Thanks Louisa for your warm welcome and advice.

5 Nights at Seal Cove
4.7/5 Stars Upfront Reviews - September 2023
Louisa is a fantastic host, really made us feel welcome from the minute we got there which was brilliant. There is plenty of space around the cabin so you feel very private but know that you aren't in the middle of nowhere on your own! Outstanding location right next to the Loch and also near the main roads so you can get out and about.
Very thoughtful touches such as the firepit and picnic bench were great to sit on and enjoy a local fish supper. Cabin is well appointed and comfortable (once you get used to ducking for the two doorways :)) with everything you need. Would not hesitate to stay again for a few nights if in the area.

We had an amazing first time in Scotland! This place, the seal cove cabin is perfect. We had a wonderful time in the evening enjoying the sunset from our terrace, with a glass of good whisky. A place to remember and we will recommend this to our friends and family in Belgium! Thanks a lot for all the good care. See you maybe next time!

Thank you Louisa and Peter for your hospitality, kindness and lovely stay.

Rain and shine, both were incredibly peaceful. Nothing gets better than walking down to the beach in the morning and enjoy the bountiful beauty of nature. We are both leaving with a warm heart, and beautiful memories. Until next time!

Lots of love.

July 2023 - Guest Book Review

What an incredible week at Seal Cove Cabin - thank you Peter & Lou for the most gorgeous holiday we could have asked for (and for letting us stay an extra night, we would stay forever if we could!). The cabin is beautifully done and has everything we need, cosy (divine bed!), well equipped with creature comforts and dog friendly. We have loved the view and sitting out on the porch in the evening sun, and can't imagine a more peaceful and refreshing spot. We have been on stunning walks (great recommendations, thank you!) and some swims in the loch which really is on the doorstep. Have had some lovely sunshine but the cabin is a great place to snuggle up when its soggy too! We leave feeling recharged and cannot wait to come back. Thank you again to our amazing hosts - nothing was too much trouble and its been a delight to share this slice of heaven with you. It sure is fyne here!

Lovely getaway at Seal Cove Cabin

5/5 Stars Upfront Review - June 2023

We had a lovely weekend at Seal Cove Cabin recently! Hosts Louisa and Peter were so nice - very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The cabin itself was immaculate with everything you need - and the bed very comfy. If you’re lucky enough to get the sun when you come to Scotland the porch is a lovely wee sun trap to enjoy a couple of drinks in the evening. Just beware the midgies! Thanks again L & P - hopefully we’ll see you again! Xx

We had such a lovely time here! The hosts were both so kind and gracious! They loaned us some midgie spray and even offered us an extra nights stay!  Unfortunately we work so couldn’t take it but would happily spend forever here!

We hiked in the area and explored the local sites.

Will definitely be coming back! Thank you! xxx

Louisa and Peter, we loved our stay at Seal Cove Cabin. A lovely break from our more “feral” campervanning across the West Coast of this beautiful country. The cabin and its accents were lovely. You have done a great job - hope to see you again! All the best - B & V ❤️
