This warm and inviting cottage apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Dunoon. Hazel Bank is a charming upper level apartment with it’s own private entrance. Spacious and comfortable living sleeping up to four guests.   An ideal base to explore the beautiful Cowal Peninsula, West Coast Scotland and the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.

This villa apartment provides a warm welcome from the moment you enter. The interior of the apartment is recently refurbished and well presented. The main hallway leads you to a spacious living room. Filled with comfortable furniture and a feature gas fire place. An area to relax and enjoy the lovely garden views and in the distant the sea views out to the west. The dining area of the living room features a table and four chairs.

The kitchen is separate and fully equipped with all your modern appliances for some delicious home cooking. There is a master bedroom and twin bedroom ideal for children. Each room has a central heating radiator. The family bathroom is modern and spacious with a shower and toilet.

Outside there is a lovely large garden area to enjoy with outdoor seating. Perfect for sunny days. There is private and secure parking for one car.

The apartment is very well appointed and ideal for staying for a short break or a longer stay. The location is perfect, only minute’s walk are local shops, cafes and pubs. You can also explore the nearby walks at Bishops Glen and beyond.

Dunoon is the main town on the Cowal Peninsula in the south of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is on the western shore of the upper Firth of Clyde, to the south of the Holy Loch.
You can travel by Citylink Bus or by train from Glasgow to the ferry terminals at Gourock. Calmac and Western Ferries both serve the Dunoon area and both ferry operators have passenger facilities.
By car

Follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch the Western Ferries Ferry to Dunoon. You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond and through the Argyll countryside. See the AA web site for a route planner.

The owners were very welcoming and this was a good central location in Dunoon. We changed tenants half way through the week and this was not a problem at all for the owners. I offered to change the beds for the new clients but the owners were quite happy to do this themselves. Many thanks to them.

The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming, the property is clean, well equipped, and very conveniently located. As a bonus, we stayed in winter and the property was very warm!

What a find. Charming hosts and a great location combined to make this a perfect short break. A whole 2 bedroom flat to ourselves and had the weather been better a tranquil garden would have afforded a peacful setting as well.

The property is well appointed with kitchen and all essential appliances, a large living room with beautiful views of the Clyde estuary and a double and smaller twin bedroom, the modern bathroom is also spacious.

Dunoon centre is within easy walking distance and for those wanting to travel further afield the property has free parking. All in all a perfect property with attentive hosts.

Perfect for a short stay. Nice to have the freedom to relax and not be stuck in a hotel room. Dianas garden is amazing.
