The Property
Firthview House is a welcoming waterfront holiday home set in Dunoon with spectacular sea views over the Firth of Clyde and beyond.  A glorious coastal location for those wanting to explore the Cowal Peninsula and the West Coast of Scotland. Sleeping up to 12 guests, ideal for extended families or friends looking to relax and enjoy time together. 
 
This well-equipped accommodation offers spacious and comfortable accommodation over two floors, featuring an inviting hot tub.
 
Interior
There is an inviting living room filled with leather couches, a bright and spacious living area with comfortable seating to gather in.  For entertainment there is Wi-Fi, a television, board games and toys for children.
 
The kitchen is spacious, light-filled and fully equipped with all your modern appliances. Featuring two dining tables, a wonderful room to enjoy special family time with windows views out over the garden and the Firth of Clyde.  The region has an abundance of local produce on its doorstep to encourage guests to sample and cook up a fabulous feast in the kitchen.

Featuring six bedrooms on both the ground and upper level. Including all bed linen and towels.

Outside
The outdoor area offers a firepit with outdoor seating, BBQ and a shared garden for guests to relax and enjoy, perfect for children to play.
 
The six person hot tub is sheltered and is well positioned to admire the stunning the water views and beyond. Here you can unwind and lie back in the hot tub after a busy day exploring the region. Guests can also enjoy al fresco dining, an evening drink or BBQ.  

The property is directly across from a beach, ideal for sea glass and shell collecting. An ideal position to enjoy walks along the promenade, soak up the sea views, watch seals and porpoise play, or simply watch the ferries and boats pass by.
 
Located in a quiet residential area. Dunoon town centre is a 10 minute walk away where you will find welcoming pubs, cafes and restaurants.

Explore
Firthview House makes an ideal holiday base for exploring local attractions including Benmore Botanic Gardens, Pucks Glen in Argyll Forest Park, and historic Kilmun.  The area is renowned for its natural beauty along with the many activities available, take your pick from walking, cycling, sailing, fishing, golfing, windsurfing and more.  
 
Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, take the ferry to the Isle of Bute to visit Mount Stuart, or visit historic Inveraray. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
 
Guest Access: Firthview House is attached to Coorie Braw House and shares the garden and access with the smaller holiday cottage. 
 
Car Parking: Private onsite parking and free on street roadside parking also is available.
 
Dog Policy: Your well-behaved dogs are welcome but you must request at time of booking.  Maximum two. £20 per dog per stay. Rules apply.
 
You must declare your intention to bring animals to Coorie Braw Cottage when you book.  Assistance dogs are exempt from additional charges. In the interest of visitors’ safety and as a result of government legislation, the Owners are unable to accept the following types of dog: American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro, Doga Argentino or cross breeds of the aforementioned even where the dog is muzzled as required by law.

Towels: Towels provided are for bathroom use only. Not to be used for Hot Tub. Please bring your own beach towels for hot tub use, alternatively hot tub towels can be provided for £20 direct.
 
Hot Tub: The use of the hot tub is solely for guests staying at property, use is from 10:00am to 11:00pm. Rules apply. 
 
Quiet Hours: We ask guests to be thoughtful of neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum between 11pm and 10am.
  
Safety Features: Smoke alarm, Fire extinguisher, Fire blanket.
  
Cleanliness & Disinfecting: Use of cleaning chemicals that are effective against Covid, Linens, towels and laundry washed in accordance with local authority guidelines, Guest accommodation is disinfected between stays.

DUNOON
Dunoon is the main town on the Cowal Peninsula in the south of Argyll and Bute, Scotland. It is on the western shore of the upper Firth of Clyde, to the south of the Holy Loch. The town offers a museum and leisure centre as well as a great selection of shops, galleries, and cafes. 
  
DIRECTIONS
You can travel by Citylink Bus or by train from Glasgow to the ferry terminals at Gourock. Calmac and Western Ferries both serve the Dunoon area and both ferry operators have passenger facilities.
 
By car follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch the Western Ferries Ferry to Dunoon. You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond and through the Argyll countryside.
