Warm and welcoming Ash Lodge has comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a lounge, dining area, electric heating throughout, a television, DVD player and Wi-Fi. Leading off the living area is a small equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, microwave and fridge.
The lodge features a bright and cosy comfortable double bedroom with a fitted wardrobe and mirror. The family bathroom is complete with shower, wash basin and toilet.
Outside
The township of Dunoon, only a 20 minute drive away offers a selection of coffee shops, craft shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants.
Explore further afield to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, Argyll's Secret Coast, the Isle of Bute, and historic Inveraray, it's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
Dogs Welcome: Your well behaved dog is allowed, maximum two. £15.00 per pet per stay applies. Please bring own dog towels and bedding.
Access: Downhill pathway and steps to the lower level lodge entrance from carpark.

DIRECTIONS:
Option 1: Follow signs for the Erskine bridge after passing Glasgow Airport. Cross the bridge and follow the signs for Inveraray and Oban. After the Rest and Be Thankful turn left onto the A815 and follow signs for Dunoon.
Pass through the village of Strachur then approx 5 miles further on see signs for Whistlefield Inn on the left hand side. Drive up the road past the entrance to the Whistlefield Inn and the entrance to the lodges is on the right.
Ash lodge is on the lower level with parking close-by.
Option 2: On the Dunoon side, turn right from the terminal and follow the road until you come to a T junction at Sandbank. Turn right and continue on this road (A815 signposted for Glasgow).
After passing the Cot House Service Station look out for the Whistlefield Inn on the right hand side(approx 6 miles). Slow right down here as the road to the Lodges comes up immediately on the right. Drive up the road past the entrance to the Whistlefield Inn and the
entrance to the lodges is on the right. Ash Lodge is on the lower level of lodges with parking close-by.

Not the first time we've stayed here and won't be the last. Fabulous location in a beautiful part of Argyll. The lodge is a perfect size for two and their pets. The wild birds visiting the feeding area outside the window was an added bonus. Friendly hosts Chris and Maggie made sure all was well.
A suggestion for improvement would be for a washing machine in the kitchen instead of a dishwasher.

The lodge is comfortable and is in a great location. It has easy access to many woodland walks and is about 100yds from the Whistlefield Hotel.
The surrounding area is very quiet, ideal for a break away from it all

Lodge was extremely clean on arrival. We found the location of the lodges very easily although because it was pitch black we struggled to find our lodge. We phoned and we're explained and then found it very easily. Customer service was very good and didn't mind us phoning so late at night. Cabin was so comfortable and cosy. We had an amazing time and there was so much to see and do in the area. Would definitely stay again and would definitely recommend.
