Introduction
Cairn View is a charming terrace cottage located in the historic village of Kilmartin. This traditional terraced cottage is well equipped with all the modern comforts of a home, filled with warmth and character.

For anyone interested in the understanding the early history of Scotland, a visit to Kilmartin Glen in mid Argyll is a must. Steeped in history and surrounded by beautiful scenery, Kilmartin is the ideal holiday base for exploring the West Coast coast of Argyll. Visit the nearby Standing Stones and Dunadd Fort.

The cottage is well equipped with all the modern comforts of a home. Sleeps up to three guests.

Interior
The ground floor in the cottage features a kitchen with all your modern cooking appliances. The cosy sitting room features an inviting wood-burning fire, comfortable sofas and a dining area. The cottage features free Wi-Fi.

With two bedrooms sleeping up to three guests there is a single bedroom on the ground floor level and a spacious double bedroom on the entire upper level. The views are stunning. The stairway to the upper bedroom is quite narrow and steep and not suitable for children, or elderly. A family bathroom features a walk in shower and a WC and is located on the ground floor level.

Outside
The garden area has lovely views over the glen with outdoor seating. A stunning spot to enjoy weather permitting in the spring and summer months.

This is a wonderful area to explore the nearby historic sites, local attractions and museums. Just across the road is the well known Kilmartin Museum and cafe.

Explore
Kilmartin village is rich in archaeological and historical remains of Neolithic and early Bronze Age monuments. Visit standing stones, burial cairns, castles and famous gardens.

The small town of Lochgilphead is 8 miles south and the bustling town of Oban is 30 miles north. Explore nearby Crinan Canal or experience the Mull of Kintyre and Islay and take the passenger ferry from Tayvallich to the island of Jura (summer only) and sail from Oban to Mull and Iona. Cycling, fishing, sailing and golf are close by or enjoy leisurely walks along the banks of historic Crinan Canal.
